A holiday-letting website has to do
more than look expensive

It has to load on a phone on coastal 4G, survive a guest uploading a 6MB photograph, keep a booking enquiry from going missing, and be found by somebody in Nairobi or Milan typing “villa Diani” into Google at eleven at night.

Coast Holiday Lettings is a working example of that brief. Seventeen listings across four service lines, a full booking pipeline, a journal, an owner-facing yield calculator, OpenStreetMap integration and an admin dashboard where every single image on the public site can be replaced in a couple of clicks — all of it built on vanilla PHP and MySQL with no page builder anywhere in sight.
