We look after the coast so you do not have to
Twelve years, eighty-five assets, one team that still answers its own phone.
It started with one empty house in Nyali
A friend's villa had sat unused for three years, quietly costing money and slowly losing its fight with the salt air. We agreed to take it on for one season. It let for sixty-one nights.
That was 2014. Since then we have built the thing we wished had existed then: one company that can hand a guest a villa, a boat, a car and a driver, and hand an owner a monthly statement that reconciles to the shilling.
We are deliberately not the biggest agency on this coast. We take on properties we would be happy to put our own family in, we employ our staff directly rather than through labour brokers, and we say no to houses we cannot make work. That last part is why the reviews look the way they do.
Four rules we do not bend
Say the true thing
If a house is overpriced for what it is, we will say so — including when it is one of ours. Long-term trust beats one booking.
Employ people properly
Our housekeepers, gardeners and drivers are on contracts with NSSF and NHIF, paid on time, trained by us. Good service is not an accident.
Inspect, every time
Every property is walked before every arrival. Not a phone call to the caretaker — a person, with a checklist, in the house.
Account to the shilling
Owners get a monthly statement showing every shilling in and out. No bundled "management costs", no surprises.
Stay. Sail. Drive. Own.
One office, four services. Book any of them alone, or let us assemble the whole week.
Who you will actually be dealing with
Small team, no call centre. These are the names on your emails.
What guests and owners say
“We have rented on this coast for years and always ended up chasing someone about water or power. Kesho House was simply ready — staff briefed, fridge stocked, the chef already knew my daughter is coeliac. That is the whole difference.”
“My house in Nyali sat empty for four years. Coast Holiday Lettings took it on in March; it has been let 63% of nights since, and I get a statement on the first of every month that actually reconciles. I have stopped worrying about it, which was the point.”
“We put eighteen clients on the dhow for a sunset sail and it was the thing everyone talked about for the rest of the conference. Organised entirely over WhatsApp in two days.”
“Ocean Breeze House is exactly as photographed, which is rarer than it should be. Sixty metres to the sand, the cook was outstanding, and they arranged the fishing boat and the car without us asking twice.”
“Our flight was two hours late at midnight and the driver was still there with the board. No extra charge, no complaint. Small thing, but it set the tone for the whole week.”
“They walked us through the yield model line by line and were honest about the risks, including the ones that did not help their sale. We bought two units. Twelve months on, the build is where they said it would be.”
